Léa’s first job sees her take up the position of cashier for a large supermarket chain. Here she discovers the world of work, a world governed by unexpected rules which soon force her to take a stand.

Filmed against a bare and sterile backdrop, the violence of work merges with that of today’s world. A dehumanised world in which the spark of life is invariably crushed, nipped in the bud.
